Lotta is a native Swedish speaker with many years of professional experience in Second language acquisition. She has taught a wide range of students with multifaceted backgrounds. She started teaching for the Swedish Teacher in April 2018. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Media (University of California, San Diego) and has studied Swedish as a second language at Linnaeus University, Växjö, and Spanish.
She is a contributor to the Swedish School of San Diego, where she taught Swedish and facilitated learning for children with Swedish heritage and background. She participated in developing a core curriculum that followed Swedish educational system guidelines and requirements. She has taught reading intervention and special education.
Lotta will teach you while boosting your confidence in conversing and participating in conversations socially and in the workplace. She utilizes her broad background in education, sales, imports, communication, and media to incorporate relatable topics and subject matters in her teaching. She can also assist you with PowerPoint presentations, preparing for job interviews, or writing professional emails.
