Erica began teaching for The Swedish Teacher in April 2017. She is a native Swedish speaker from Uddevalla who currently resides in Sydney.
Erica is proficient in Swedish and English. From 2015 to 2016, she studied Swedish at Linnaeus University (Linnéuniversitetet) in Växjö, Advanced English at Ability College in Sydney, and Swedish as a Second Language at Högskolan Väst (West College). Erica holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in linguistics from the University of Sydney and a Certificate IV in English Language Teaching (TESOL) obtained in 2021.
With extensive experience working in preschools in Göteborg, as a youth group leader, and as a mathematics tutor, Erica has taught Swedish at the Swedish School of Sydney since 2018. Additionally, she has been teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) at the ILSC Group in Sydney since 2021.
