Cooper, who lives and works in New York, first learned Swedish as an exchange student in Sweden when we began lessons around 10 years ago.
At the end of 2024, Cooper returned to us wanting to polish his skills with the goal of eventually passing the Tisus test. We have met approximately every other week since then, focusing mainly on reading comprehension and spoken production.
In May 2026, Cooper took the Tisus test at the Swedish Consulate in New York and passed.
