”Hej, I recently moved to Uppsala, Sweden, from the United States. I had been planning on moving here for several years, because my fiancée is Swedish, but I was finishing up my PhD in Chicago. I have previously taken two classes at the Swedish American Museum in Chicago, though one was the very first time they had ever offered it online (due to the pandemic), so it was a bit less material than would normally be covered, I think. I am currently working as a postdoc at the Karolinska, so between the commute and potential unusual or long research lab hours, I thought individual lessons were a great way to keep me practicing and learning Swedish.
